In this battery program the price of the battery decreases around 60% from its actual value. First of all, the ios 10.2.1 update downgraded the performance of processor on iphone 6, iphone 6s and iphone SE. To increase the performance of processor battery output was compromised. By doing this, apple faced a lot of criticism all around the world from its users.

Cost of battery replacement:-

The cost of replacing the battery under this program is Rs. 2000 plus taxes, for out of warranty devices ( iphone 6 and above).Actual Price of this battery without this program was around Rs. 6500. This battery replacement program will be available worldwide till December 2018.

New update:-

Apple will issue a new update later in year to increase the performance and battery life. This update will reduce the load from battery and help its battery to deliver last-longing performance. This update will give feature of battery status monitoring. It will provide users more visibility to monitor their devices battery usage.
