The South Korean company Samsung is expected to launch their first Smartphone of the year that is Samsung galaxy A8 plus on 10^th January. Company has started testing their premium mid-end Smartphone before the launch. Moreover, it will be the only Smartphone of the Samsung galaxy ‘A’ series that will be available only on online platform. To sell this device in the country Samsung has partnered with Amazon. As per the news, Amazon has setup a dedicated page for this Smartphone, in this page there is an option named Notify me, by clicking this option the buyers will get a notification when the device is available.

Samsung Galaxy smartphones

The Smartphone is expected to come with the features as in the Samsung’s flagship smartphones. Samsung A8 and A8 plus were launched in the global market last month. These devices has infinity display, which is also present in companies flagship Smartphone that are Samsung galaxy S8, Samsung galaxy S8 plus and note 8. The device will feature all glass and metal design and it will come with a bezel less infinity screen and a dual front camera system.

Specifications:-

In Samsung A8 plus expected to have 6 inch full HD+ (1080*2220 Pixel) Super AMOLED Screen and the infinity display design with 18:5:9 aspect ratio and corning gorilla glass 5. The device come with an Octa-core EXYNOS 7885 processor with mali-G71 GPU assisted by either 4GB RAM and 32GB storage or 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The storage memory can be expendable upto 256GB with the help of memory card slot. The device will run on Android 7.1 nougat out of the box and is expected to get Android Oreo 8.0 update in the future.

To provide the power to the device, it has a 3500mah battery. The device will support fast charging and it has a USB type c-port.The device will come with IP68 water and dust resistant and support Samsung pay for contactless payment from the mobile.

Coming to the camera’s, the device has a dual front Selfie camera setup, in which one is of 16MP other is of 8MP sensors both are with f/1.9 aperture. On the back, the device has a 16MP camera with f/1.7 aperture, phase detection and autofocus, LED flash and 1080p video recording. The device will provide blurred background with bokeh effect when clicking the image, also the device has a Live Focus feature to adjust the bokeh effect while taking the self-portraits. The device will also attract those buyers who want a Smartphone that will click selfie’s with a clear background.

The device comes with WI-FI 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, LE, NFC, GPS and GLONASS. The Smartphone supports Samsung gear VR handset.

Price:-

There is no information of this device price. The device will go on sale in Vietnam on 6 January with a price tag of VND 13,490,000 (approximately Rs. 38,040).
